So, where do I begin, until December 6th 2021 for 12 years I was the proud owner of two Alaskan Malamutes until I lost the second of my baby's Maya and I was heartbroken and said no more dogs for at least 6 months, I lasted two weeks.
I had already researched the breed (non-shedding) and as soon as I saw JD it was a done deal.
I collected JD from Tikvah Doodles on the 2nd of January 2022 and I picked a beauty even when he's stinking after a muddy walk!
JD settled in straight away and house-training took no more than three weeks. He is adorable and the friendliest dog you could wish for and has no aggression whatsoever.
From 'day one' (away from traffic obviously) he's been off lead and never leaves my side, now he's a bit more confident he will run up to every dog but his recall is immediate either by voice or whistle.
I am a professional dog-walker and as such I have various dogs staying with me and JD gets on with every single one of them.
I was so impressed by JD and his brilliant temperament that a few months ago I bought his half-brother Milo and I can honestly say that I have never seen two male dogs bond within the first 24 hours of him arriving at my home like they did.
I would throughly recommend not only the breed but also Tikvah Doodles for all the help and support they have given through the initial first few months and still on going today.
